Easy Cream Cheese Frosting

Cream Cheese Frosting
1 Pound Butter (The real thing) Softened
1 Pkg Cream Cheese (You know the kind that comes in the silver box) Softened
2 Tsp Vanilla
2 Pounds Powdered Sugar

Fluff Butter and Cream Cheese and slowly add powdered sugar until you have about half of the Powdered Sugar then add Vanilla continue to mix on high and add rest of Powdered Sugar slowly until all is added and it is light and fluffly. Put into piping bag and pipe onto cupcakes or frost your cake or just eat by the spoonful!!!! Tonight I am putting mine on carrot cake cupcakes.

Veil for a 1920's style wedding....DIY

This is how it started with raw edges

I cut a bit of the lace folllowing the lace edging to curve it in and the used extra yard of lace that I got for this and for the cap that I am making next.
Gotta love me modeling it so that the bride can see what it looks like.
Now time to put it away until the bride can actually see it in person!!!

Save the Date ...The important dates book

The cover of the Save the Date Book. Hard to believe that this used to be just pieces of cardboard! This is the first thing I have done with chipboard and find it amazing that we can get books bound or do it ourselves with a spiral notebook binding machine!!!

Each of these little flower petals are a min of 4 little hearts folded in half and glued together to make them appear as petals in these dasiy like flowers.

I then discovered using chalk to shade each petal. This made my darling husband shake his head once agian when he took me to hob lob to find chalk for shading I love it and think it created an amazing effect

There is a page for each month to enter those important people & dates in so you won't forget!!!
I love paper. It is one of my favorite things. If  I can figure out a way to create something with paper I will. Bernie encourages this although sometimes he rolls his eyes when I get excited over a project. This project I love because I am forgetful of birthdays n such. I love my family extended and otherwise but remembering birthdays anniversaries n such its pretty amazing to me how quickly I forget the date. Although I do remember the month.  My latest project thanks to scrapin time a local scrapbook store here in Las Vegas.

2 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Bag Chocolate Chips

Preheat Oven to 375 bake 7 to 9 minutes

Lemonaide Icebox Pie

A girl and work said I am gonna make 1 of 2 things for the potluck, The one that she didn't make was this pie but she told me how she made it. I had to come home and make it the very next day which is um well today. Getting hot outside this is perfect and simple and delicious!!!!

LEMONAIDE PIE

1/2 can of  Frozen Concentrate Pink Lemonaide (you can use regular or limeaide as well)
1 Can of Condensed Sweetened Milk
1 Container of Cool Whipped Topping
Food Dye (appropriate color)
1 Pie Crust

Whip the frozen concentrate lemonaide and condensed sweetened milk, I used my whisk option on my mixer. When that is all fluffly looking add cool whipped topping and your red food coloring. I used a hand held whisk for this part. Then fold into pie crust & chill in the fridge.

Note: I doubled this recipe and made 2 pies

1 whole can of pink lemonaide frozend concentrate
2 cans condensed sweetened milk
1 large container of cool whip
2 pie crusts

Super simple and tasty! Cool and Refreshing

A year of planning and diy weekends and then it happened.....

What a beautiful day it was! It was pefect in all ways and I wouldn't have changed a thing. This is something that has been very popular I have made a couple more since I made this one and this one sold after we got back from the honeymoon.
I made the jewelry for my girls, each got a necklace and braclet and I made myself a bracelet.

Pomanders were the first thing I think I made! They were easy and gave us the pop of color that we needed!

This was the table to remember the people that were watching us from heaven to celebrate our day and our wish bowl rather then a book to sign in. I am still planning on using these in my scrapbook I will make one day of this amazing day! So many wrote amazing and sweet things!

Button Corsages that I made for each of the important women that were there to celebrate with us!

The flower girl bucket rather then a basket It was awesome and got lost but it was simple galvanized steel.

The wish bowl tags that I made for everyone to fill out to share their wisdom and wishes for us!
This is all DIY the flower pots that are dark plue I painted and added ribbon to, The little pots are filled with personlized M & M's  They were coved in glitter and I thought they turned out cute they were for people to munch on and then of course a favor for everyone to take home with chocolates and jordan almonds that Bernie and I love.

I didn't do the cake ok I am not crazy! But the ribbons around the cake I placed each crystal with tweasers. The butterflies were not handmade. They were ordered but I had to reshape almost all of them so I got my hand in that to. They swirl around the cake. Loved this cake!!! As you can kinda see below!

All the prepration was worth it because now we are coming upon our 2 year anniversary!!! We have been through a crazy amount of stuff since then but it has all been worth it because when I look upon my husband I still feel the joy I do when I saw him the first time on May 15th, 2010.
